Transport Accident Commission Chief Executive Officer Janet Dore has confirmed the TAC will continue its partnership with the Geelong Football Club for the 2014 season.

Ms Dore said:

"We are satisfied the club took seriously our concerns in relation to a well-publicised player incident late last year. This is reflected by the Geelong Football Club's commitment to implement a safe driving policy.

"When making this decision the TAC took into consideration the good work performed by a number of Geelong players over the past eight years in promoting road safety and providing inspiration to injured Victorians.

"The TAC takes a strong stand on the important issue of road safety and we will continue to apply a high standard to all of our partnerships.

We look forward to working with the club as we continue the important work of promoting safe driving behaviour throughout the 2014 season."
