This tool allows you to extract information about Fatalities and TAC Claims involving hospitalisation on Victorian roads. You can produce your own reports, tables and charts, and filter your results by a range of criteria, including date and crash type, as well as by characteristics of people killed and injured in crashes, such as age and gender.
STEP 1
What type of accident are you searching for?
Note: Fatality data is compiled by the TAC from police reports supplied by Victoria Police. Fatality data is revised each day, with the exception of weekends and public holidays. Data is subject to revision as additional information about known accidents is received, and as new accident reports are received and processed.
Claims involving hospitalisation data is updated monthly from TAC claims databases. A six-month reporting lag is applied to the data, allowing for claims to be lodged and processed, and hospital invoices to be received and processed. Claims are reported by claim acceptance date. Data is subject to revision as additional information about known claims is received, and as new claims are received and processed.
The TAC accepts no liability for any loss or damage suffered by any person or corporation resulting from the use of the information in this tool. In addition, the TAC does not guarantee system availability and is not responsible for any losses associated with any system unavailability.
